Dylan Chambers is a pop singer, songwriter and guitar player from Arlington, TX. He got his start performing in nightclubs, restaurants and other live venues around the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex while still in high school. When he was only 16, Dylan opened for the legendary Three Dog Night in front of thousands of people.
After graduating, Dylan was accepted to Berklee College of Music in Boston, but declined to build his career in Los Angeles. Since then, Dylan has shared the stage with artists such as Nicole Scherzinger of the Pussycat Dolls, Tori Kelly, Tyler Hilton, Ryan Cabrera, BC Jean, Savannah Outen and JoJo, while also traveling throughout the United States, as well as internationally playing, writing music and singing with his good friend, Mark Ballas from ABC’s hit show, Dancing with the Stars.
A recent transplant to Los Angeles, Matt Weisberg has already made a profound mark on the music scene. Having graduated from University of Miami, he has since honed his skills and is well-known as a multi-talented producer, composer, performer and educator.
His compositions can be heard in a multitude of media platforms, from movies on The Lifetime Network to television shows such as “Burn Notice” and “Millionaire Matchmaker”. Matt has performed and worked with everyone from American Idol contestants and REO Speedwagon to jazz legends, Bill Watrous and Clare Fischer. Matt enjoys imparting has diverse knowledge and currently teaches music at Harvard Westlake School and privately from his home studio in Laurel Canyon.
At just 24 years old, Liela has not just an amazing voice, but the maturity, instinct, and talent of someone much older. Liela was born and raised in Los Angeles, California.
Her father, John Avila, (Bassist for OingoBoingo) introduced Liela to music at the age of 5. She attended the prestigious Los Angeles County High School for the Arts (LACHSA) where she studied jazz voice. In 2007 and 2008, Liela was selected out of 52 vocalists worldwide to compete in the Montreux Jazz competition, she placed 2nd. Liela has shared the stage with great artists such as Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Josh Groban, Patti Austin, and many more.
ICY HOT CLUB
Skillfully conjuring 1930′s Gypsy jazz with their own unique twist! The Icy Hot Club is a Los Angeles-based group that plays Gypsy jazz music in the style of Django Reinhardt. Their core group consists of two guitars and upright bass, but they will also introduce a variety of other instruments including violin, clarinet and drums. The Icy Hot Club plays a wide range of material including Gypsy, pop, and jazz. Their versatility and extensive repertoire allow them to perform in situations ranging from instrumental background music for a cocktail hour or lounge, to tasteful and danceable music at weddings and dances, to exciting high-energy stage shows at clubs and parties.
Brett Young was born and raised in Orange County California where he grew up fascinated with classic voices like Al Green, Marvin Gaye, and Smokey Robinson, all of whom would eventually impact his sound. He began playing music in high school, where he lead worship every Friday, but it wasn’t until a serious injury in college ended his baseball career that he began writing and pursuing music as something more than a hobby.
Brett has since played venues ranging from House of Blues to Troubadour, and shared the stage with such artists as Mandy Moore, Tyrone Wells, Jason Reeves, Gavin Degraw, Tyler Hilton, Katy Perry Hoku and many more. Brett recently released his second record, Make Believe and is currently in the studio finishing up his latest album.
American & Brazilian Jazz
Vocalist Joyce Marie is passionate and has perfectly pitched renditions which is further enhanced when sung in their native languages, including Portuguese and Italian. Joyce Marie looks to diverse musical worlds in her fusions of Jazz, Brazilian Samba, and Bossa Nova style.
Trained as a vocalist and dancer, Joyce Marie became interested in Jazz and Bossa Nova as a young girl in the suburbs of Los Angeles. Joyce began her career in the Music Industry by participating with her twin brother on piano, in the “Battle of the Bands” Competition, sponsored by the Hollywood Bowl. Moving into Beverly Hills and the heart of the music industry in 2000, she began freelancing at local restaurants, hotels and private parties. In 2001 she formed the Joyce Marie Quartet, featuring the talents of Joe Partise on Piano, Sandro Albert on Guitar, Carlitos del Puerto on Bass Guitar, and Enzo Todesco on Drums. In her current performances, she works with many popular musicians in the Latin Music Arena. Her influences include Antonio Carlos Jobim, Sergio Mendes, Gal Costa, Tania Maria, Frank Sinatra, Al Jarreau, Ivan Lins, and Leila Pinheiro.
Joyce Marie has performed with distinguished musicians such as: Eliseo Borrero, Joe Partise, Eddie Resto, Enzo Todesco, Tom Regis, Aaron Serfaty, Rique Pantoja, Walter Rodriguez, Luis Conte, Rubin Estrada, Sandro Albert, Carlitos del Puerto, Edmond Velasco, Rene Camacho, Jimmy Branly, John Belzaguy, Ramon Banda, Joe Rotondi, Octavio Figueroa, Giorgio Pretti, Michael Sena, Jorge Arciniega, Mark Towns, Theo Saunders,and Ray Armando.
At only 25, Laura Mace has already traveled the world as an accomplished singer, sharing the stage with some of music’s finest. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA., where she attended Citrus College. There, she was accepted into the elite choral group, The Citrus Singers, which allowed her to gain exposure to classical and musical theatre vocal styles.
She joined the group on a month-long tour throughout Europe as a second soprano. While at Citrus, she became the front woman for the college’s award-winning jazz band, The Blue Note Swing Orchestra, and joined three month-long tours, charming packed auditoriums from Tokyo to Maui.
In 2007, she made top 100 on American Idol Season 7. Soon after, she was accepted into the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. There she was able to hone her musicianship with some of the most accomplished musicians in the world. Laura has shared the stage with Meshell Ndegeocello, Terri Lyne Carrington, Joyce Kennedy (Mother’s Finest), Cindy Blackman(Lenny Kravitz), and Felicia Collins (The Late Show).
