class descriptions

SURFSET®:  This new and dynamic class is inspired by one of the world’s most athletic sports.  Using real surfing techniques on a surf board creates a workout that builds balance, core strength, stability, agility, aerobic conditioning, power, lean muscle & coordination.  Our SURFSET® classes are a fun new way to get in shape.  All levels are welcome.


PRIVATE SURFSET TRAINING SESSIONS
Single Sessions: $100
Weekend Warrior (3 sessions): $260
Hang 10 (10 sessions): $650
**The above can be private sessions or you may combine your sessions with any of the SurfSET group classes offered.  Each session/class comes with spa access for the day that includes spa facilities, additional wellness classes, spa pool, and fitness center.


SURFSET WELLNESS GROUP CLASSES
“Drop Ins”: $20 (for those guests who would like to take a class only.  No locker or amenity usage.  Parking not included.)
Single Group Class with Spa Access: $75 (includes parking validation and all day spa access)

Thalassic Beach Walk: Walk barefoot in the soft sand and surf, meditate by the water’s edge and savor the benefits of the sea. Please wear shorts as you will be near the ocean’s edge and will get wet. We will supply the sandals.

Montage Yoga Ritual: Experience the benefits of yoga by uniting mind, body and breath with the elements of the ocean.

Beach Boot Camp: Enjoy an exhilarating class on the beach.   You will be put to the test through a series of intervals, sprints, pushups and stair climbing, finishing with a hardcore abdominal workout. Prepare to sweat!

Mat Pilates: Classic Pilates exercises performed on the mat. The benefits include improved posture, pelvic stability, spinal mobility and sculpted abs.

Rev Up Cycling:  45 minutes of heart-pumping, fat burning cycling followed by 15 minutes of stretching to relieve tight and sore muscles.

Foam Roll Out: Improve flexibility and strength, increase range of motion and detoxify in this hightly effective class.  Sustained pressure using foam rollers and tennis balls into connective tissue provides a release similar to trigger point massage.

Beach Core H.I.I.T.: A beach workout consisting of 30 minutes of core training and 30 minutes of high intensity interval training. (H.I.I.T.) All levels are welcome.

Morning Yoga:   Increase core strength, endurance, strength and flexibility in this class designed for all levels.  A wonderful way to start your day.

+Ride and Glide:  Get your cardio, strength training and flexibility work all in one fun sessio.  This class is a 30 minute workout of cycling, using endurance and intervals and 30 minutes of strength and flexibility instruction on the reformer.  This class is for all levels.  Please call the spa to reserve your place.  +There is a $25 fee for this class.

Private Instruction

We offer any of our classes for private or group instruction. Please ask a wellness trainer or spa reservation agent about setting up a consultation.

Other private instructions include Assisted Stretch, Weight Training, all levels of Pilates, Pilates Reformer, Specialized Yoga,  many styles of dance, Aqua Exercise, Hiking, Running, Cycling, Kick Boxing, Sport Specific Conditioning, Foam Rolling, Creative Visualization and Meditation.

Private trainings with spa access starts at $130

Montage Fitness Facility Policies: Must be 16 years of age or older; ages 13-15 permitted if accompanied by an adult. Shirts & closed-toed shoes required. No cell phones please.
