In winter, explore the breathtaking beauty of Deer Valley while cross country skiing, on a snowshoe hike or private tubing. During the summer months, venture out on a mountain bike tour, shoot archery, learn the art of fly fishing or explore the many other activities the season has to offer.

Guided Mountain Bike Tours & Rentals

Explore world-class mountain biking trails in our scenic backyard, led by a dedicated Compass Adventure Guide. Compass Sports offers top-of-the-line mountain bikes, creating a bespoke mountain biking experience at your own pace. Guided experiences include both uphill and downhill mountain biking. Each experience is customized to your desires and skill level. This guided adventure is also ideal for beginners, as there are no beginner trails accessible directly from the hotel.

Compass Explorers

Paintbox attendants will get children ready and excited for their big day on the slopes. They will gear up your Explorer with skis, boots and snow gear and will personally accompany your Explorer to and from Deer Valley Ski School at nearby Snow Park Lodge. Available to resort guests ages 3-18 years old who have full day group Ski School reservations in advance. Lift tickets must also be purchased in advance.
