Montage Healdsburg Completes Appointment of Executive Team
HEALDSBURG, CALIF. (September 21, 2020) – Nestled among 258 acres of rolling vineyards and oak tree groves, the long-awaited Montage Healdsburg today announces it has fully appointed its executive team, capturing great talent stemming from leading luxury hospitality brands. Slated to debut in late fall 2020, Montage’s first Northern California resort features 130 bungalow-style rooms with a contemporary, environmentally-conscious design. The resort’s world-class amenities include an 11,500-square-foot Spa Montage with a zero-edge pool overlooking the vineyards; four signature dining options inspired by the region’s rich culinary heritage; and a wealth of outdoor pursuits.
The group of seasoned luxury hospitality executives join General Manager Allen Highfield, a Montage brand veteran who comes directly from sister resort Montage Deer Valley, to build a robust team across all departments in preparation of the opening later this year. The Montage Healdsburg executive team includes:
- Doug Kaminski, Director of Sales and Marketing – Kaminski joins the resort after 20-years with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. Most recently he held the position of director of sales and marketing at Four Seasons Hotel Chicago. He’s also served roles at several other properties in the portfolio across the U.S., including Miami, Silicon Valley and Austin, Texas.
- Raphaël Piveteau, Director of Food and Beverage – Piveteau joins the Healdsburg team from the Baccarat Hotel & Residences in New York City where he was the Director of Food and Beverage. Through the years he has held various positions with Shangri-La Hotel & Resorts, including postsin Makati, Philippines and Hong Kong Island, in addition to The Ritz-Carlton, Half Moon Bay in Half Moon Bay, Calif.
- Judy McDonagh, Director of Finance – McDonagh joins Montage Healdsburg from The RitzCarlton Hotel Company where she was the Director of Finance at several properties, including four properties within the Washington, D.C. area, as well as in Lake Tahoe.
- Peter Pagano, Director of Rooms – Prior to joining Montage Healdsburg, Pagano was the Director of Rooms at Fairmont Grand Del Mar in San Diego, Calif. and held previous roles at The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, including Grande Lakes in Orlando, Fla. and the brand’s San Francisco property.
- William Kamaka, Director of People – Kamaka joined Montage Healdsburg from The RitzCarlton, Lake Tahoe where he was the Director of Human Resources. Prior to Lake Tahoe, he held notable posts at The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas and has centered the last 24-years of his career in Human Resources within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Tysen Gregersen, Director of Engineering – Gregersen joined Montage from The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe where he was the Director of Engineering. He’s also served a previous role in Sonoma wine country, working with Fairmont Mission Inn & Spa.
