Montage Healdsburg Debuts Wellness and Culinary Programming for Harvest Season
HEALDSBURG, CALIF. (September 8, 2022) – Nestled among 258 acres of rolling vineyards and oak tree groves, Montage Healdsburg today unveils its exclusive harvest season programming, celebrating its stunning setting within the heart of Sonoma wine country. The transformative hideaway, which offers an abundance of natural beauty and expansive outdoor spaces, places an emphasis on its renowned wellness and culinary experiences through a series of upcoming activations, including a weekend of mindfulness, harvest inspired spa treatments, and interactive wine tastings with food pairings.
Montage Healdsburg’s harvest season wellness programming highlights not only the abundance of the region, but also the resort’s numerous spa offerings and variety of on-property outdoor pursuits. During September 16-18, 2022, Montage Healdsburg will welcome hotel guests and non-hotel guests to its ‘Harvest Wellness Weekend,’ a gathering dedicated to growth and toasting to the 2022 harvest season. Upon arrival, guests are invited to a private reception featuring wine tastings with Sonoma County-based Croix Estate before enjoying a healing sound bath meditation, restorative yoga among the vines, and stargazing under the sparkling Sonoma sky surrounded by the property’s natural beauty and minimal light pollution. Saturday is devoted to wellness with yoga, an interactive cooking class led by Chef Jason Pringle, Gua Sha lessons using luxe products from Kerstin Florian, honey tasting with beekeeper Candace Koseba of Sonoma County Bee Company, sipping functional tea infused with mushroom adaptogens and botanical extracts from Good Pharma, and more. The weekend concludes with transformative yoga among the vines along with words of inspiration from author, musician and keynote speaker Stephen Kellogg.
Furthering the resort’s wellness offerings, this harvest season Spa Montage is debuting “A Vineyard to Spa Experience,” which incorporates grape skins and seeds from the resort’s vines managed by internationally renowned winemaker Jesse Katz and bottled by Aperture Cellars Winery. Blended with the finest mineral salts and essential oils infused with grapefruit and black pepper, the elements are full of antioxidants and create a sustainable, exfoliating body polish that firms and brightens the complexion. Alongside this newly debuted spa experience, signature treatments include the Harvest Honey Ginger Infusion Ritual, inclusive of a full body wrap, warm stones and a hydration massage, among the Sonoma Blend Massage, featuring locally sourced, cold decanted olive oil supplied by Healdsburg-based Comstock Wines’ own olives.
In addition to its wellness programming, Montage Healdsburg is implementing culinary activations for guests to experience seasonal flavors complemented by locally made wines. The Meet the Maker series, hosted each Friday from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., invites guests to connect with a different winemaker each week, sip the latest vintages and learn about the journey behind each bottle. Upcoming featured wineries include Trattore Farms Winery on September 16, Captûre Wines on September 23 and Williamson Wines on September 30. Additionally, Montage Healdsburg is inviting Reeve Wines to host its Winemaker Dinner series on September 23 for a tasting led by winemaker Noah Dorrance paired with a special menu curated by Chef Jason Pringle.
