Alan Fuerstman

Founder & CEO, Montage Hotels & Resorts

Alan J. Fuerstman is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Montage Hotels & Resorts. Founded in 2002, the company’s portfolio of luxury hotels, resorts and residences includes a collection of Montage-branded destinations: Montage Laguna Beach, Montage Beverly Hills, Montage Deer Valley, Montage Kapalua Bay, and Montage Palmetto Bluff. In addition to these destinations, Montage also manages seven highly-acclaimed golf courses and clubs.

Alan recently announced the expansion of the Montage Hotels & Resorts portfolio with the introduction of Pendry Hotels. A collection of lifestyle hotels in taste-making destinations, Pendry Hotels will bring together the best in vibrant design and anticipatory service. Pendry San Diego, the first hotel within the brand’s portfolio, is under construction now in the epicenter of San Diego’s Gaslamp District.

Prior to launching Montage Hotels & Resorts, Alan was the opening Vice President of Hotel Operations at Bellagio in Las Vegas. Previously, he served as President and Managing Director of The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he also oversaw The St. Regis Aspen and The St. Regis Houston, as well as all ITT Sheraton properties in Arizona. He began his distinguished career with Marriott International.

Alan has been recognized with many industry accolades, including: Ernst & Young’s “Entrepreneur of the Year” 2013, “The Robert Mondavi Wine & Food Award” 2013, “2011 Distinguished Achievement Award” from B’nai B’rith, “One to Watch” from Virtuoso Life Magazine, “Leaders in Luxury” award from Luxury Travel Advisor Magazine and “Resort Executive of the Year” from Ypartnership, the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) and The University of Denver’s School of Hotel, Restaurant & Tourism Management.

Alan currently serves on the Board of Trustees for Gettysburg College, the Northern Arizona University School of Hotel and Restaurant Management Advisory Board, and the Resort Committee of the AH&LA.

A native of New Milford, New Jersey, Alan graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.

Kelly Sawyer Patricof & Norah Weinstein

Co-Presidents, Baby2Baby
In 2011, Norah Weinstein and Kelly Sawyer Patricof became Co-Presidents of Baby2Baby, quickly turning the organization, which provides low-income children with basic necessities such as cribs and diapers, into one of the fastest growing non-profits in California. Under the duo’s leadership, Baby2Baby has distributed over 13 million diapers to over 100 non-profit partner organizations including homeless and domestic violence shelters, and other social service agencies—making it one of the most influential children’s nonprofit organizations in the country. Through their efforts, Norah and Kelly have also grown the organization from a grass roots community program into a national thought leader in this space.

Sid Espinosa

Director of Philanthropy + Civic Engagement, Microsoft
Sid Espinosa is the director of philanthropy and civic engagement at Microsoft. His career has spanned the government, business and non-profit sectors. He is the former mayor of Palo Alto, CA, and was previously the director of global philanthropy at Hewlett-Packard Company. He has worked for a U.S. ambassador overseas, served as an aide to U.S. Attorney General Janet Reno at the U.S. Department of Justice, and worked in the speech writing and public liaison offices in the White House. Sid has served on numerous non-profit and industry boards of directors. He holds degrees from Wesleyan University and Harvard University.
