Brown Estate Winery
Throughout the month of February, we will be featuring Brown Estate Winery’s wines and pairings on our menus in both Octagon and River House.
The Brown Estate label, Napa Valley’s first Black-owned estate winery, was officially established in 1996 when they harvested what would become the first bottling of Brown Zin. In January 2000 they debuted the first three vintages at the annual ZAP (Zinfandel Advocates & Producers) Grand Tasting in San Francisco. Fast forward to August 2021… when they bottled their 25th vintage.
