March Well Living Honoring Women

Friday, March 3rd

Southern Peel Pop-up
5:00 – 8:00pm, Inn Courtyard
One of the Bluff’s favorite pop-up trucks, owned by Chloe Zmolek, will be taking up residence for the weekend. Their vintage pizza truck produces some of the best brick oven gourmet pizzas crafted with locally sourced ingredients.

Saturday, March 4th

Sparkling Reception with Maison Antech
4:00pm – 6:00pm, Hush
Join us as we welcome the “Queen of Bubbly in the Languedoc”, Françoise Antech Gazeau, for a tasting of her family’s champagnes from Maison Antech. Some of the best pairings for champagne happen to be southern favorites, fried chicken and oysters! We’ll have some delightful bites to go along with these incredible champagnes.

Tea Tasting
11:00am – 2:00pm, River House Porch
As complex and nuanced as the finest wines and perfumes is tea. Megan Miller, owner of Hale Tea out of Savannah, GA will guide guests on an exploratory tea tasting. To complement these teas we will serve a selection of pastries from our own Executive Pastry Chef, Melissa Logan and her all-female team – to honor these esteemed women and their craft.

Friday, March 10th

Creating Cocktails with Master Mixologist Camber Lay
4:00pm, Hush
Learn from a master mixologist how to enhance your bar skills. Camber will provide instructions on how to make two of her signature cocktails and provide additional insight for building your own signature cocktails.

Camber Lay will join Guy and Conor behind the bar in Hush as an additional master in the bar.

Fireside Chat and Reception with Bassima Mroue and Dr. Amy Bader
3:30 – 4:30 pm, Hush
Hear the story of 3 very different women (a doctor, chef and biz brain) who went through major life challenges (divorce, loss of a child, health issues) and came together to create a brand that is all about health and beauty from the inside out. A little bit about what SkinTē is and why we created it. They’ll also discuss food as medicine and the importance of self-care.

Crafted from the finest semi-precious stones, freshwater pearls and 14-carat gold, Genia’s pieces are perfect for everyday wear or special occasions, and have been an endearing local favorite and featured in boutiques from Atlanta to Ponte Vedra to Los Angeles and beyond.

What better way to celebrate Earth Hour than connecting with the earth through yoga? We will have candles on the deck of the River House pool and minimal lighting in the space to truly appreciate the starry sky.

Meet Lowcountry artist, Janet Scarbrough and see a display of her work in the Library. Janet is a mixed-media artist with a wide array of subject matter.
